Advent Lunch Series

Lunch 3: Wednesday 19th December at 12:00pm

You eat lunch, and you like Christmas, so why not combine the two and join us for our Advent Lunch meetings.  Every Wednesday throughout Advent we’ll be holding a lunch meeting at Wilson Memorial Church.

The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is a cherished tradition of Christmas, and a wonderful story of redemption and hope, which makes it perfect for a study in Advent.  Over three weeks, with a mixture of readings from “A Christmas Carol” and Scripture, we will reflect on the three visitors of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future, and how they might change our attitude and approach to the coming of Christ at Christmas.

The Advent lunch follows on from the Church open hour, so please feel free to come along at 11:00am to enjoy an hour of peace and quiet first.

Please note that this is not a catered event, so please bring your own packed lunch and we will provide hot drinks.
