Our Autumn Winter 2017 season of film screenings starts in September

8th September 2017, 6:30pm

The story of Chesley Sullenberger, an American pilot who became a hero after landing his damaged plane on the Hudson River in order to save the flight’s passengers and crew. This Hollywood blockbuster was released nationally in 2016. Certificate 12A.

13th October 2017, 6:30pm

The story of Irena Sandler who saved the lives of 2,500 Jewish children during the occupation of Poland during World War 2 by smuggling them out of the infamous Warsaw Ghetto. Certificate not classified.

8th December 2017, 6:30pm

When Jacob discovers clues to a mystery that stretches across time, he finds a Childrens home with a difference. But the danger deepens after he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers. This Hollywood childrens adventure film was released nationally in 2016. Certificate 12A.

12th January 2018, 6:30pm

In Pittsburgh, accomplished pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu uncovers the truth about brain damage in football players who suffer repeated concussions in the course of normal play.   This Hollywood blockbuster, with an A-List cast, was released nationally in 2016. Certificate 12A.

Our film screenings are shown in the small hall, where they are projected cinema style onto a large screen.  Just like a big multiplex, but much more friendly.  Tea and coffee will be available after the film, but sorry we don’t have hot dogs for sale.
