Other Announcements

Rev Mike brought greetings from the congregation of Leith Ebeneezer United Free Church, where he lead the service on Sunday 14th May as part of the Presbytery pulpit annual exchange program.

Marathon Road Closures – Sunday 28th May.  The Edinburgh Marathon Festival takes place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May, with 5K and 10K runs on the Saturday, followed by the Half Marathon and Full Marathon on the Sunday.  As a result there will be significant road closures in the east of Edinburgh, which may cause disruption to your regular route to Church.  Further information on road closures can be found on this link.

Voting Fever hits Wilson Memorial.  Hot on the heels of the local council elections in May, and in the run up to the general election in June, Wilson Memorial has introduced it’s own election – Vote for your favourite hymn.  The ballot box is located at the back of the Church, and all you need to do is drop in a note of your favourite hymn.  The most popular hymn will also be used as the basis for a service, which Rev Mike will give to the congregation during June.
