Our spring season of film screenings

9th April 2017, 6:30pm

The epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius, a powerful Roman Military Tribune, and his aide Lucius, are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.  Set in 33AD, this Hollywood blockbuster was released nationally in 2016.

5th May 2017, 6:30pm

This film tells the true story of the relationship between Alan Bennett and the singular Miss Shepherd, a woman of uncertain origins who ‘temporarily’ parked her van in Bennett’s London driveway and proceeded to live there for 15 years.  This Hollywood film was released nationally in 2015.

Our film screenings are shown in the small hall, where they are projected cinema style onto a large screen.  Just like a big multiplex, but much more friendly, and sorry we don’t have hot dogs for sale.
