Thursday 9th Feb – Women’s Association.  Wilson Memorial Church at 2:00pm.  Women’s Association will meet for a musical afternoon.

cup-of-teaSaturday 11th Feb – Coffee Morning.  Wilson Memorial Church at 10:00am.  Another chance for you to enjoy the tasty treats laid on by the ladies of the Women’s Association, in their second fundraiser of the year.

Sunday 12th Feb – Moderator’s visit. revritchie Wilson Memorial Church at 11:00am.  Rev Alexander Ritchie, the Moderator of the United Free Church of Scotland, will be the special guest preacher.  Rev Ritchie will bring a message from the denomination, and after the service will be meeting with various members from the congregation, and the Kirk Session.  It has been a number of years since Wilson Memorial welcomed the Moderator, and we are looking forward to hearing him preach on Sunday 12th February.

heroesMonday 13th Feb – Heroes.  Wilson Memorial Church at 7:15pm.  We are delighted to be hosting an evening with Adrian Plass and the Searchlight Theatre Co.  More details and how to buy tickets can be found on our dedicated event post by clicking this link.

It just happened :

Friday 3rd Feb – Film Society.  We had a grand turnout for this months movie premier at the Wilson Memorial Cinema.  Everyone enjoyed the film about the notorious cyclist Lance Armstrong, who’s Tour de France victories turned out to be fuelled by performance enhancing drugs.

Latest Quiz now available – The first quiz of the year has now been launched, and sheets are available in the Church vestibule.  Cost 50p, with a prize for the winner.  This new quiz is titled “Christmas Menu”, which as you would imagine deals with a variety of foodstuffs that you may have eaten over the Christmas season.

Stedfast Magazine – There are a few copies of the December and January edition of our denominations magazine “Stedfast” still available.  These can be picked up in the church vestibule.
